Askli is a free tool built by one parent for other parents. This policy tells you exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why.
What we collect
Your email address when you sign in with Google. That's it. We use it to manage your account and send you session summaries when you request them.
What we never collect
We do not store, record, or log anything your child types. Conversations happen in memory during the session and are permanently deleted when the session ends. We never see what your child said. Nobody does.
Session summaries
At the end of a session you can request a summary — topics explored, emotional tone, nothing more. This summary is generated from signals, not transcripts. It is emailed to you and immediately deleted from our systems. We do not store summaries.
Third party services
Askli uses industry-standard AI models to power conversations. Your child's messages are processed by these models to generate responses. Messages are not stored by us. Please refer to the relevant provider's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
We use Google Sign-In for authentication. Your Google account information is handled per Google's privacy policy.
We use Vercel for hosting and basic anonymous analytics — page views and visit counts only. No personal data.
Children's privacy
Askli is designed for use by children under parental supervision. We do not create profiles for children. We do not collect any personal information from children. The parent's email is the only identity in our system.
Beta disclaimer
Askli is in beta. It is an AI tool and is not perfect. It is designed to reduce risk — not eliminate it. It is not a substitute for parental supervision and should not be treated as one.
Liability
Askli is provided free of charge as-is. By using Askli you acknowledge that it is a beta product, that AI systems are imperfect, and that parental supervision remains your responsibility. The creator of Askli cannot be held liable for conversations that occur through the service.

- Askli is a beta product. It uses AI to monitor and respond to conversations. AI is not perfect and some conversations may not be handled as expected. Do not rely on Askli as your only safety measure.
- Askli is free and provided as-is with no warranties of any kind.
- You may not use Askli for any commercial purpose. You may not attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, or exploit the service.
- We reserve the right to discontinue the service at any time without notice.
